improvement scams out there… typically, the persons who perpetrate these
activities are from out of this area and solicit door to door. They
will target senior citizens whenever possible, typically soliciting Roof
Repair, Driveway Paving, Repair or Resealing, Chimney Cleaning and
Repair, and other odd jobs. …
There may be occasions when they
may ask to enter your house. Never allow anyone into your home unless
you are positive about his or her identity and intent. …Please notify
the police as soon as possible whenever you encounter such an individual
or incident… If possible, provide the police dispatcher with a
description of the person, a description of his vehicle and license
plate if possible.
