Detectives of the Naugatuck Police Department in conjunction with Connecticut State Police Statewide Organized Crime Investigative Task Force (SOCITF) conducted an illegal gambling investigation. The investigation was conducted between the months of January 2016 to July 2016. The illegal gambling was being held at the Main Street Social Club located at 423 North Main Street.
On July 27 the Naugatuck Police Department and members of SOCITF executed a Search Warrant at the Main Street Social Club. Arrests were made during the execution of the Search Warrant. The arrests made were in relation to the organizing and running of the illegal gambling, and participants of the illegal gambling.
