WHY DOES PARKING THE RIGHT WAY MATTER?
Safety: There are reflectors on the rear of the vehicle to alert vehicles coming from behind.
Liability: You must drive the wrong way to return to the proper lane.
Clarity: With all the vehicles parked the correct way removes any confusions from other motorists
*Parking in the opposite direction of traffic, or facing against oncoming traffic on the side of the street on which the vehicle is parked is prohibited under the Borough of Naugatuck Code of Ordinances 18-91.(b) and may result in a $10.00 fine imposed for each violation.
Please help by doing your part to keep the Naugatuck streets uniform and orderly!
