Happy THROW BACK THURSDAY everyone....
Todays picture goes back to 1964, which shows "new" NPD officers being sworn in by Chief Klimasewski.... On the left we have Retired Deputy Chief Tom Hunt (what a pretty smile - even back then!!!), Retired Patrolman Henry Kuczenski and John Stankus, Retired Lieutenant Fran Morrow, Retired Detective Ron Pruchnicki and Ret. Patrolman Joe Como.....
The Photo was taken at the then "Temporary PD" which was located at the corner of Water and Church Street where the Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan building now stands .... (which BTW - would have made a great location for the current PD ....Just saying!!!) .... while the current day Town hall Building was being built (PD was located in the basement).
