NPD CALL ACTIVITY REPORT:
The Naugatuck PD investigated the following incidents of interest yesterday:
• Armed Robbery – Discount Smoke Shop / 436 Rubber Ave. / At about
10:10 AM yesterday NPD responded to a report of an Armed robbery of the
Dicount Smoke Shop after the suspect jumped the store counter and
threatened the clerk with a pocket knife. An undetermined amount of cash
was forcibly taken and the suspect fled on foot. He was located and
arrested a short time later by Naugatuck Officers after he was tracked
with a K9 to a residence on Hoadley Street. No one was injured in the
incident.
• Solicitors Without Town Permit – Barn Finch Circle –
Employees claiming to be with :Renewal by Anderson” were found
soliciting on posted property and without a town permit – they were
advised to cease … If anyone encounters them continuing please contact
NPD
