Today is expected to be dry and quiet! … High temps around 40 degrees and partly cloudy … colder weather coming tonight and into the next few days … Enjoy the day!!

NPD CALL ACTIVITY REPORT:
The Naugatuck PD investigated several incidents of interest yesterday as follows:
• Vandalism – Building on Church Street to restrooms
• Vandalism – Vehicle on Idleview Rd., Window
• Vandalism – Damage to residence on Beardsley Ave

THIN ICE!!
Additionally, the NPD received a complaint of several juveniles attempting to walk on Baummers Pond … this typically occurs around this time of year when the temps are not sufficient to allow ice to develop, however kids are sometimes not aware of this… A reminder to all talk with children about the dangers of walking on lakes, ponds and other water surfaces and the hazards they present this time of year. If anyone observes persons near these types of hazards please contact us ASAP!!
