NPD CALL ACTIVITY REPORT:
The NPD and Eversource Electric reminds citizens of potential scams
occurring in the area. These scams include phone calls and door-to-door
solicitations by persons claiming to be representatives or “partners” of
Eversource. These individuals are using aggressive marketing tactics to
sell discounted power and sometimes threaten to turn off electricity.
Citizens should be aware that Eversource representatives carry company
issued ID and that representatives rarely makes unsolicited phone calls
or take part in door to door solicitation.
