5/30/2016 - 5/30/16 - Weekend Call Act Report

Good Monday morning all,

In spite of the rainy weather, the 2016 Memorial day Parade is scheduled to kick off this morning on time at 9:15 AM. Please take a few moments today to honor our veterans and to remember those that gave their lives to protect us.

The NPD had a pretty active weekend. There was an officer involved crash that took place yesterday in which several cars, including one of our cruisers were struck while stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of New Haven Road and Candee Road. The occupants of the vehicles involved, including our Officer Julian were not seriously injured. The road was closed for several hours while the accident was investigated.

 There were a few vandalisms reported (3) as follows;   1) Marc St. – Property Damage reported on Sunday at 11:52 AM, 2) Fern St.  – Damage to vehicle Reported at 11:52 am on Saturday that was domestic related,  3)  Rubber Ave – damage to a vehicle reported at 8:43 AM
