The weather is looking great again today … little chilly but no messy liquids to cause driving issues … unless you spill your coffee…

We remind everyone that distracted driving laws are being enforced here in Naugatuck and around the state and country… Fines can be costly …for example, a first cell phone offense in Connecticut costs $150.00, the second offense is $300.00 and all subsequent offenses are $500.00… While these fines are costly in terms of money, they are nothing compared to the value of your life or the lives of others….On behalf of all the men and women of the NPD, we urge you to please be attentive to your driving ad leave the distractions until the trip is over…
