The Sao Paio Festival held at the Naugatuck Portuguese Club (110 Rubber Ave). begins on Friday 8/29 and runs through the weekend. Motorists are reminded to please be extra cautious while traveling through the downtown area this weekend while the festivities take place due to the higher volume of pedestrian traffic expected during the event. The festival will begin Friday evening and will feature traditional Portuguese food and 
music. There is no charge to attend the festival.
