1/21/2016 - NPD Facebook Post - 1/21/16 SNOW ORD and UPDATE

Ahead of the storm things look good, Take the fair weather opportunity and prepare for the storm on Saturday by making certain you have all the items you will need; good clothing for being outside in the snow…(your sandals won’t cut it people!)…. Snow shovel / snow blower or better yet – a plow!, salt / sand  for ice …. And last, but not least, plenty of bread and milk (why, I have no idea…. But “they” say you need to get it!)…

The Borough Winter Parking Ban will be in place upon the start of the expected snow storm this weekend on Saturday.

....In addition to the parking ban, Borough residents are reminded of Town Ordinance 16-8 which requires the owner / occupant of any premises to remove snow/ice from the sidewalks fronting or adjoining any street or public place within the borough....

Good Thursday Morning All,

Looks like the snow is definitely coming…does not appear to be a huge storm, but based on the lack of snow so far this year ANY amount of snow will seem major!

Okay  - Snow business out of the way – here is the NPD activity report for Wednesday 1/20/16 (06:30 AM – 06:30 AM). The NPD handled 128 calls for service, with no unusual calls / items listed.
