Well - as you can se
e - Im back….the dream of being a millionaire beach bumb has died ….at least for now …. But I’ll be ready for the next jack pot!!
Yesterday was pretty active again for us - The blotter covering 6:30 AM - 6:30 AM for 1/13-1/4/16 is attached.
We had a bomb threat called in at about 11:00 am at Walmart on New Haven Rd. - The store was evacuated for a little over an hour as the store was combed. After it was cleared they returned to business and our detectives took over. The investigation into the origin of the threat is on going - I will keep you all updated as reportable information is obtained on that investigation.
On a bright note, we received no reports of car breakin’s, vandalism’s, burglaries or other larcenies …. Except that Walmart was able to manage to attract a couple shop lifters after their bomb scare…. Must be something about the danger of stealing from a bomb threatened store that attracts them…. I don’t know!!
….On the note of vandalism - I received a few requests concerning the vandalism I reported to you all yesterday concerning the manger on the green - The street department alerted us to the damage which was caused to the mangers plexi-glass - the damage was estimated at about $200.00 to repair and it appeared to have been caused intentionally.
