On Sunday 7/19/15 Naugatuck Police Officers were dispatched to a brook located behind the area of #300 Rubber Ave. on a report of an unresponsive adult male in the water. Responding officers located the male, who was identified as Mr. Christopher Ferry (DOB 12/25/1989) of 47 Galpin Street, Naugatuck and found him laying unresponsive in the water. Officers attempted to resuscitate the victim on scene and he was transported by ambulance to St. Marys Hospital in Waterbury where he was pronounced deceased.
The circumstances surrounding the death are being investigated by the Naugatuck PD Detective Division. No further details regarding the investigation are available at this time. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Naugatuck Police Department at 203-729-7106.
