**ANNUAL FIREWORKS EVENT**

The Naugatuck Park and Recreation Department will be holding its annual July Fireworks Event.

The event will take place on Old Firehouse Road and admission is free. The event will begin at 6:00 PM and the fireworks show will start at 9:15 PM.
The public is urged to utilize the many excellent viewing locations around town including the downtown and Old Firehouse locations, however Rotary Field, Hotchkiss Street and the Salem Bridge will be off limits to spectators.

Motorists should note that Old Firehouse Road will be closed to traffic at about 4:00 PM on July 2nd however there will be parking available in the General DataComm parking lot located at 6 Rubber Ave.. Vehicles using that location should enter from the south at the Rubber Ave. entrance or the north entrance near Nardelis Grinder Shoppe.
There will be no parking or spectators allowed on the Salem Bridge (Route 63) or the Maple Street Bridge (Whittemore Bridge). There will also be no parking

The public is reminded that NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OF ANY KIND are allowed on Borough or State Property.
