2/16/2015 - NPD Facebook Post 2.16.15 / Road re-Opened Ok Folks .... The Pool is Re-Opened!!! ....well, Old Waterbury Road / South Main Street in Waterbury is now re opened!!.... in both directions .....however the south bound lane (traffic headed south from Waterbury into Naugatuck or towards Route 8) is still partially blocked as crews continue to clean up the messy-mess in the roadway. ...For those of you that missed whats happening because you have been soaking up the rays.... The roadway was closed in the southbound direction after a tractor trailer carrying potting soil overturned.... ...Thats right...I said "Potting Soil" .... There is so much to work with concerning that statement that...well...I don't even know where to start.... So, I'll just leave it alone... ...Although ...I cant wait to see the beautiful Lilac's and Pansy's that bloom there in the spring!!! (You all knew I couldn't leave it alone...) ....The cleanup is expected to be taking place for the next few hours and motorist should still expect to experience slight delays if traveling through this area until the clean up is completed.... ...We will be here!!
